14’ Jon Boat
Jon boat trips provide the advantage of more secluded, smaller pond fishing. Comfortable 14’ boats with 50-lb. thrust electric motors move you quietly across serene waters surrounded by wildlife and optimal structure for large mouth bass, or over rocky clear waters more suited for small mouth bass. This boat will accommodate two passengers plus a guide and all the equipment necessary for a day on the water.
21’ Ranger Bass Boat
Travel across the lake in seconds to stand and cast from one of two decks on a Ranger bass boat powered by a powerful 225-HP Evinrude ETec clean and quite motor. The Berkshires host a half dozen small to mid-size bass fishing lakes within one hour of Great Barrington. An entire lake may be covered in a single day using previously charted fishing hotspots and knowledge of the fishing patterns for the given season and weather conditions.
Fishing trips generally take 4-6 hours. They are strictly “catch and release.” They are available by reservation for most of year (spring, summer or fall) and can accommodate two guests.
